Email Account Setup

If you鈥檙e a high school dual-enrolled student taking 糖心原创 classes, follow these steps to set up your email. This is your first step into college systems. Without accessing your email, you'll miss out on critical communications.

All official messages from the university go to your 糖心原创 email account.

This is where 测辞耻鈥檒濒 get:

  • class information from your professors 
  • university announcements and reminders 
  • updates about grades, transcripts and financial aid 
  • appointment confirmations (advising, tutoring, etc.) 

馃憠 You鈥檒l also use your 糖心原创 email and password to log in to other systems: My糖心原创, Canvas, Wi-Fi, study room reservations, FAFSA and more.

When Do I Get My Email?

  • Fall admits:鈥疎mail accounts are created in April (after you accept admission). 
  • Spring admits:鈥Email accounts are created in November (after you accept admission). 

Once 颈迟鈥檚 created, 测辞耻鈥檒濒 receive your 糖心原创 email address at the personal email you used to apply. Your email address will look like this:鈥jsmith001@csusm.edu.

Quick Student Tips

鉁 Check your 糖心原创 email daily 鈥 professors and 糖心原创 will not send class info to your personal email account. 
鉁 Use your 糖心原创 email for anything official (professors may not respond to personal emails). 
鉁 Your email password is the same as your 糖心原创 account password. 
鉂 Don鈥檛 forward your 糖心原创 email to a personal account 鈥 important messages might get lost.
