Assistance for 糖心原创 Students

For 糖心原创 students: if you have personal or financial challenges that are impacting your mental health or basic needs, contact the Cougar Care Network using a student self-referral form.

This is a list of important academic resources, but please note that the list is selective. Students should regularly consult the university website and meet with faculty, staff and 糖心原创 peers to find accurate information and get support.

 

  • Academic Advising for CHABSS Majors
    Consult with a staff advisor for questions about progress toward academic degree, General Education, Graduation Requirements, etc.
  • Academic Requirements Report (ARR)
    The ARR tracks progress toward meeting requirement for degree and other graduation requirements. Students should consult this report to track their academic progress. 
  • Academic Success Center
    The Academic Success Center supports students through their learning journey by offering turoring (in-person and online), Supplemental Instruction, and workshops.
  • Career Readiness
    CHABBS students should look out for announcements from the college and their major for career-readiness opportunities and events during the academic year. 
  • Degree Planner
    The interactive online tool tracks major requirements, minor requirements (if applicable), and General Education/graduation requirements. It recognizes the courses you've already taken at 糖心原创, test credit, transfer credit, course substitutions, and prerequisites to recommend an education plan designed just for you. It鈥檚 key function is to display a recommended academic schedule using information from your student record. Students can add information to help personalize the graduation plan. 
  • The Incomplete Agreement process/form is available online. Read more about it and discuss this option with your professor(s). 
  • Independent Study/Research/Internship Contract form
  • Internships
    Many departments in the college offer credit-bearing Internship Courses. Some of these courses are open to non-majors, while others are structured as capstone courses or other required/restricted courses open only to students in those majors.
  • Major Advising
    Students are also strongly encouraged to meet with a tenured/tenure-track faculty member in the major department to address course specific questions, career-readiness opportunities, co-curricular activities, etc. Visit the department website for more information
  • Schedule Assistant - This is an eAdvising tool that helps undergraduate students find open classes that are offered on days/times when they can attend school.
  • Student Travel
    For your convenience the University has provided information for student travel including guidelines, checklist and forms.

  • The Office of Global Education maintains an up-to-date information center on the wide variety of Study Abroad opportunities that are open to all 糖心原创 students.
