CHABSS-affiliated Scholarships

The Office of Financial Aid requires students to access scholarship information and applications at this .

Lucas Dunn Memorial Scholarship (study abroad in France) 

Eligible students must be accepted for study abroad in France, must demonstrate strong commitment to the study of French Language and culture through academic coursework and extracurricular activities, must have completed French 201 or higher and must be in good academic standing.

Madison Dexter Howe Scholarship (Political Science or Economics majors)

Scholarship support to students who are Political Science or Economic Majors. Not need based. Seniors with a 3.25 GPA

J. Douglas and Marian R. Pardee Scholarship

To provide scholarship support to students within the following colleges: CHABBS, CoBA, CEHHS, CSM and Transfer/Returning students. 10 awards at $2,000 each per college ($100,000 per year).

Teichert-Pineiro Spanish Scholarship (Spanish Majors) 

Scholarship for students majoring in Spanish. Award amount to make meaningful financial impact. Preference to re-entry student and/or first generation 3.0 GPA. Maintain GPA in order to reapply.

The Schmidt Graduate Scholarship in Literature and Writing

Hein Family Fellowship (graduate students only)

Endowed fellowship specifically for Graduate level students, enrolled in the College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences

The Wagner Music Scholarship

5 students majoring in music will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Scholarships are merit-based, non-renewable, and distributed over the focused areas of: performance, composition, and music technology. 

Eichen Music Scholarship

American Indian in Honor of Lee E. Dixon Scholarship (proof of tribal affiliation required)

Bree Tinney Women鈥檚 Studies Scholarship

Suzanne Farwell Memorial Arts Scholarship (Theatre, Music, or Dance majors)

Undergrad-any grade level. Must have some form of financial aid. At least 12 units/semester. 3.0 GPA min. Single (head of household) preferred. Fall distribution. Theatre, Music, or Dance major.

Deanna DeLaney Memorial Scholarship (Sociology majors) 

Scholarship for students with major or minor in sociology. 3.0 GPA, financial need, number and amount of scholarship at discretion of the University

Eichen Graduate Equity Scholarship (graduate students from any College)
