Employee of the Month winners are nominated by professional staff and their peers at the University Student Union for their exemplary service and voted on by a committee composed of Student Building Leads on a monthly basis.

Diego is someone who consistently goes above and beyond for both our team and our clients. His strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed have made him a valued team member across multiple areas of the USU. As a leader on the AV team, he takes pride in mentoring and supporting new student staff, sharing his knowledge and ensuring others are set up for success. Beyond his technical expertise and dedication to excellent service, Diego's positivity, sense of humor, and genuine care for those around him make a lasting impact on everyone he works with.
Cris
As an Operations & Events Assistant, Cris consistently demonstrates a positive, can-do
attitude, tackling challenges with initiative, adaptability, and quick thinking. They
are always ready to support their teammates, proactively solve problems, and take
on new responsibilities with enthusiasm. Cris's contagious energy, strong teamwork,
and commitment to excellence make them a valued member of the USU team and a joy to
