TRIO SSS is Now Accepting Applications for Fall 2026!

We are excited to welcome new students into our TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´

If you're a first-generation, low-income, or disabled student, TRIO SSS is here to support you academically and personally throughout your college journey.

To be Admitted to the TRIO SSS Program

  1. Fill out a
  2. Applicants between the ages of 17–24 must include a parent or guardian's signature on the application.
  3. Applicants under the age of 24 must upload their parent's or guardian's federal tax return with their application. Please submit IRS Form 1040 (pages 1 and 2), ensuring that Taxable Income is visible.

    Exceptions: Applicants who are married, have dependent children, are orphans, or were wards of the court may submit their own federal tax return instead of a parent or guardian's tax return.

  4. If your parent or guardian did not file taxes, please print, complete, and upload the TRIO SSS Income Verification Form.
  5. Conditionally accepted applicants will be required to participate in an interview with a TRIO SSS Counselor to verify eligibility and determine program fit. During the interview, applicants will also review and sign the TRIO SSS Participation Agreement.
  6. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Eligibility 

Prospective TRIO SSS Scholars must meet all of the following eligibility criteria to participate in the program:

  1. Be an undergraduate student who has been admitted to or is currently enrolled at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´.
  2. Meet at least one of the following eligibility categories:
    • Be a first-generation college student (neither parent has earned a bachelor's degree);
    • Meet federal low-income eligibility guidelines; or
    • Have a documented disability.
  3. Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident (Green Card holder).
  4. Demonstrate academic need, as indicated on the TRIO SSS application
