Student Poster Showcase
What is the Student Poster Showcase?
The Student Poster Showcase, hosted by the Committee for Undergraduate Research (CUGR) and the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (OGSR), takes placeat the end of the fall semester to celebrate and promote student research
and creative activity. This free event is open to all 糖心原创 students across disciplines
and offers a welcoming, non-competitive environment for sharing their work.
In addition to highlighting a wide range of student projects, attendees are encouraged
to watch for Student Excellence Finalists, who are evaluated during the event.

- Time: 12:00 - 12:50 PM
- All disciplines encouraged to apply. Examples include, but are not limited to, the
following:

- Independent research
- Literature survey
- Course-based undergraduate research (CURE) projects
- Creative Activities
- Summer Research
- Open to Undergraduate and Graduate students
- Application Deadline: November 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Application Prioritization:
- Faculty-Mentored Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (RSCA) This includes work carried out in supervised independent study courses such as BIOL
489/499, BIOT 498, CHEM 498/499, KINE 496/499
- Upper-division courses that included a research component
- First-Year Seminar/GEL Class
Submitting an application does not guarantee participation. At the end of the application
period, all applications will be reviewed, and students will be notified of their
acceptance status through their 糖心原创 email account.
Application Process

Applications are accepted through
If you do not already have an InfoReady account, you may be prompted to create one.
Use your school email and check it regularly, all correspondence will be sent to this
address.
- Complete the Application
Complete the application and provide a brief synopsis or short description of your
project. Ensure that your description is between 150-300 words.
Presentation Resources
- Group Submissions
- Designate a Leader: Designate one person to submit the application on behalf of the group.
- Poster Allocation: Each accepted application will be assigned one poster space.
- Presentation Team: Up to four members may present, with two presenting at a time in a rotating format
to ensure adequate space and flow during the event.
- Contact Information: Include the names and email address of all presenting members in the application
- Faculty Member Approval
- Within two business days of your submission, your faculty mentor will receive a notification
from our office.
- They need to confirm your submission by responding to the email within three days.
- Check with to ensure they receive and confirm your submission.
- Notification & Support
All applicants will be notified of the acceptance status via their 糖心原创 email account
once the review process is completed.

Student Excellence Award
You can also apply for the CUGR Student Excellence Award! Up to two students will receive a certificate and cash award.
