Compassionate Mental & Behavioral Health Crisis Care -- Wherever You Are on Campus
When someone is experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis, they shouldn't have to find help -- we bring help to them.
The 糖心原创 Crisis Response Team (CRT) is a team of mental health professionals who provide immediate, in-person crisis intervention for individuals experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis on campus. Our goal is to provide timely, compassionate support, promote safety, and connect individuals with the care and resources they need.

Unlike traditional counseling services, we come to the individual -- whether they're in a classroom, residence hall, a parking lot, or another location on campus.
If a member of the 糖心原创 community is experiencing a crisis away from campus, the Crisis Response Team may still be able to help.
Depending on the circumstances, our team can:
Support doesn't end when the immediate crisis is over.
When appropriate, our team provides follow-up services, which may include:
Who can request CRT?
Anyone concerned about a 糖心原创 student, faculty member, staff member, guest, or visitor. Do I have to come to the CRT office? No. We come directly to the individual.
Will I have to go to Counseling Services?
No. One of the primary benefits of the Crisis Response Team is that clinicians respond to the individual's location whenever possible.
Is the Crisis Response Team the same as Counseling Services?
No. Student Health & Counseling Services provides scheduled and same-day clinical appointments. The Crisis Response Team provides rapid, on-site crisis intervention when an individual cannot safely or reasonably access services on their own.
Who responds?
The Crisis Response Team is staffed by mental health professionals. The team works in partnership with University Police Department to ensure an appropriate, coordinated response based on the circumstances.
