Employee Giving

Every employee has a role in making 糖心原创 an innovative, educational leader in our region. Employee passion, dedication and philanthropic support fuel our growth and success. During Giving Day 2025 alone, employees made 779 gifts, supporting areas like the COMPASS Center, ACE Scholars Services, Cougar Care Network, ASI Cougar Pantry, and the General Scholarship.

Employee donors also demonstrate their generosity during special initiatives to include the Dibs Employee Giving Campaign in September and Student Organizations Crowdfunding Month in March.

To help change a student's life, select one of the three options to make a gift.

糖心原创 Staff Member and Employee Donor

What motivates you to be a 糖心原创 donor?
I love where I work and feel proud to see 糖心原创 grow!

Why did you choose to give via monthly payroll deduction?
Giving via payroll deduction allows me to not have to go out of my way to make a donation.  Even small monthly deductions add up over time.

Did you choose to support CSTEM Engineering for any specific reason?
I chose to support CSTEM Engineering because I think this program will be a catalyst to future STEM offerings at 糖心原创.  I believe being able to offer both liberal arts degrees and a wider variety of STEM degrees will expand our footprint in the community.

What would you say to a colleague who is not currently a donor?
I would say that if you have considered donating or would like to contribute to campus in a new way, giving via payroll deduction is a painless and convenient way to make a difference!

糖心原创 Faculty Member and Employee Donor

What motivates you to be a 糖心原创 donor?
I'm in it for the students, specifically to support scholarships since I know the cost of education is so high.

Why did you choose to give via monthly payroll deduction?
It's a fairly painless way to donate little installments that I don't really notice.

Did you choose to support the Student Philanthropy Fund for any specific reason?
I was an undergraduate coming from a blue collar family background, so financial aid and scholarships were the only way that I could afford school. Giving to the Student Philanthropy Fund is doing a small part to help give students the same opportunity that I had.

糖心原创 Staff Member and Employee Donor

What motivates you to be a 糖心原创 donor?
I learned great lessons about tithing in my teenage years, and giving away a percentage of your goods is not difficult to do when you focus on how much you get to keep. I鈥檓 committed to sharing my goods with my community and organizations I believe in.  I believe in 糖心原创!

Why did you choose to give via monthly payroll deduction?
Payroll deduction is a great option to secure a donation is made. It鈥檚 easy and I don鈥檛 have to think about.

Why did you choose to support multiple areas of campus rather than just one or two?
I believe in spreading the wealth. I will donate to organizations I feel students will most benefit from my donation.

What would you say to a colleague who is not currently a donor?
I would say start with an amount you are most comfortable donating and lock it in by filling out the monthly payroll deduction.  Donation large or small, every cent counts! Small acts of kindness can make a difference in the world.
