Are you aiming to enter a health-related professional school such as medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary or another health profession? ÌÇÐÄÔ´´â€™s Pre-Health Professions Certificate (PHPC) is a postbaccalaureate program exclusively designed for individuals with nonscience bachelor's degrees, providing the essential coursework and preparation needed to pursue a career in the health field.
If you hold a degree in fields like history, accounting or any other nonscience discipline, the PHPC program will equip you with the math and science prerequisites necessary for the MCAT and other entrance exams.
This intensive five-semester program comprises 13 courses in biology, chemistry, math and physics, featuring eight labs—thoroughly preparing you to transition into the competitive healthcare field.
Applications to the Pre-Health Professions Certificate (PHPC) are reviewed on a rolling basis; apply at any time! However, priority is given to applications that are received by these deadlines:
Trinity Medical Sciences University (TSOM) Partnership: PHPC graduates who meet GPA requirements are guaranteed an interview for admission
to TSOM's Caribbean-based Doctor of Medicine program, with clinical rotations completed
in the United States. TSOM graduates are eligible to pursue U.S. residencies and physician
licensure.

This program is financial aid eligible through unsubsidized federal loans for the first year only. Please keep this in mind as you think about financing the program over the two-year period. If you plan to finance your first year using financial aid, you may submit the (FAFSA) application prior to being admitted into the program.

PHPC graduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher are guaranteed an admissions interview at (TSOM) upon applying. This guarantee remains valid for PHPC graduates who take a gap year before applying.
Students who are admitted will spend 16 months at TSOM's campus in St. Vincent and the Grenadines before completing structured clinical rotations at hospitals and clinics in the United States.
PHPC graduates who are admitted may also qualify for TSOM partner scholarships ranging from $20,000 to $35,000, awarded based on GPA.
Graduates who earn an MD from TSOM are eligible to pursue residency training and physician licensure in the United States and Canada.
Trinity School if Medicine is accredited by the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Medicine and Other Health Professions (CAAM-HP), an accrediting body recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education and meeting U.S. standards for international medical schools.
