The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act is designed to make prospective students aware of a schools' commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities for its men and women students.
This disclosure provides detailed information on the number and gender of full鈥憈ime undergraduate students participating in intercollegiate athletic competitions, as well as team鈥憇pecific data. It also includes information on coaching staff, coach salaries, and the revenues and expenses associated with each sport.

The Clery Act is a consumer protection law that aims to provide transparency around campus crime policy and statistics. Among other things, the Clery Act requires colleges and universities to report campus crime data, support victims of violence, and publicly outline the policies and procedures they have put into place to improve campus safety.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act or FERPA provides certain rights for parents regarding their children鈥檚 education records. This disclosure certifies that the CSU, San Marcos Financial Aid Department has systems to identify and resolve discrepancies in information received from different sources including the use of false identities. The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRAWORA) of 1996 (P.L. 104-193), also known as the Welfare Reform Act, includes provisions to eliminate eligibility for federal and state public benefits for certain categories of lawful immigrants as well as benefits for all undocumented immigrants.
Students who require a professional or commercial license provided by a local, state, or federal government agency in order to engage in an occupation for which the CSU may be training them must meet the immigration requirements of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act to achieve licensure. Our campus is committed to protecting the health and well-being of our students, campus, and community. CSU campuses have implemented procedures to ensure that students are educated about and receive immunizations to prevent potentially serious and contagious diseases. All new students are required to provide proof of vaccination or immunity to the following prior to the start of their first semester at 糖心原创.
Applicants are required to provide their correct Social Security numbers in designated sections of admission applications, pursuant to Section 41201, Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations, and Section 6109 of the Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C. 搂 6109). The University uses Social Security numbers in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations to accurately identify students and maintain their records, including for purposes of financial aid eligibility and disbursement, as well as the repayment of financial aid and other institutional debts. In addition, the Internal Revenue Service requires the University to file information returns that include the student鈥檚 Social Security number and related information, such as amounts paid for qualified tuition, related expenses, and interest on educational loans. This information is used by the IRS to determine eligibility for federal tax credits or deductions claimed by students or individuals claiming a student as a dependent.
Institutions that prepare students for initial state teacher certification or licensure are required to submit a Teacher Preparation Report each year.
