In Their Words: Reflections from Symposium Attendees

Jake Stewart presenting

Presentations are very much outside of my comfort zone, so any opportunity I have to present my research in front of new people is equally challenging and exciting.  I view presentations as repetitions, and with each passing repetition, I get a little better! By participating in the CSU-wide Student Research Competition, I was able to gain more confidence in my ability to present my work. Plus, I met a lot of interesting people with equally interesting research areas.
