The College of Business Administration (CoBA) continues to strengthen its commitment to community engagement through both academic partnerships and volunteer service initiatives. One of the college鈥檚 most impactful examples is the Senior Experience Program, which connects students with organizations throughout the region to provide strategic business support while delivering meaningful value to the community. During the Spring 2026 semester, students completed 81 total projects, including 48 projects supporting nonprofit organizations. The continued demand for collaboration is reflected in the 33 repeat projects completed with returning partners, demonstrating the long-term value and impact of the program to our community.

Building on this foundation of service, CoBA is also expanding opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to engage directly in volunteer efforts throughout the community. Members of the college recently volunteered with the , supporting initiatives that assist women veterans and their families.

During the visit, the college delivered a donation box filled with essential supplies contributed by members of the CoBA community. Volunteers also toured the Foundation鈥檚 warehouse facility, which houses a wide range of resources for families in need. The CoBA volunteer team assisted with hands-on projects throughout the facility and helped prepare materials for the organization鈥檚 upcoming Bright Beginnings Baby Shower. Throughout its history, the FWW's baby shower has supported more than 500 new and expecting mothers by providing diapers, clothing, financial wellness resources, and additional family support items.

CoBA looks forward to expanding its community partnerships through volunteer engagement opportunities. Community organizations interested in partnering with the college for future volunteer initiatives are encouraged to contact Isabella Merrick at imerrick@csusm.edu.
