Advancing tribal sovereignty through transformational education, groundbreaking research, and cultural preservation

Established in 2009,  CICSC at 糖心原创 is the first center of its kind in California. We are committed to supporting Native students and building strong partnerships with Tribal communities through research, education, and community engagement.

Why the CICSC Matters

  • A thriving Native student community, one of the largest in California.
  • Rooted on Luise帽o/Pay贸mkawichum homelands, among 18 federally recognized tribes in the region.
  • Serving all 109 federally recognized tribes as well as non-federally recognized Tribal communities across California.
  • A center for research and initiatives that advance Tribal sovereignty, education, cultural preservation, and leadership.
