How It Works

• Step One: Submit the Special Consideration Form

  Before submitting the form, please carefully review the admissions criteria (for first year applicants OR transfer applicants). Only submit if you have completed all criteria. 

   

• Step Two: Provide requested transcripts

  First Year Applicants: To be considered, you must submit your unofficial high school transcript to apply@csusm.edu no later than May 25, 2026. Requests submitted without submission of the required high school transcript will not be reviewed. Please include "Special Consideration" in the email subject line. If you graduated high school in a previous year, please submit your official transcript to 糖心原创 so that we may provide an accurate admission decision. 

  Transfer Applicants: To be considered, you must submit official transcripts from all colleges attended no later than May 25, 2026 (see instructions for Sending Transcripts to 糖心原创). Requests submitted without transcripts will not be reviewed. If AP scores are needed to meet 1A English Composition, 2 Mathematical Concepts, or 60 units, they must be received at 糖心原创 by May 25, 2026. Requests may be denied if there is not sufficient time to submit.

• Step Three: Check Your Email!
  Once your request and transcripts are received, our admissions team will promptly review your eligibility for admission. If you meet admission requirements, you will be issued a code to apply through  
• Step Four: Complete your Application on Cal State Apply
  Using the provided code, complete your Cal State Apply application. Your code must be used (and application completed) no later than May 29, 2026.

• This process is only for students seeking admission for Fall 2026
• Submitting the form does not guarantee admission
• Requests without official transcripts will not be processed
